Living in the perfect will of God

(Eph 6:18) praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

We all have seen this one, but the last part is what I am drawing to your attention to. The Lord has asked me to include you in my daily prayer. Isn't that good news? We need to pray more for one another. Therefore, I will be.

This is a very familiar one as well.
(Phil 4:6) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; however, if you read on you will see other areas that connect to this. (Phil 4:7-9) and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. {8} Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy; meditate on these things. {9} The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
Then it tells you what to think, if you want the peace of God. When you're alone in a time to relax, a time you able to just think... be very careful what you think. Then the very last part tells the things you must do or you won't have it either. Likewise be very quick to act on what you see God telling you to do in His Word.

Every one loves to hear all the promises that God has for them, as time goes by, they start to become complacent to those promises, since none of them seem to come to them. What the problem really is that they so conveniently forget to do the things that God tells them do, in His Word. It's a package deal. THERE IS NO MAGIC BULLETS. You know, say this 3 times and jump. No, no forget that. It is all the areas put together, sure speaking is part of it, but other things are too. You can't go somewhere and hear a 45 min sermon, once a week, and expect to understand it. You have to get into the Word and study. Isn't it amazing how you set the alarm early for money? Then you fuss all kinds of ways for the promise of money, work like a dog all week for a check that you don't even know it will cash. But we don't do anything in God's system; you just expect it to come to you.

Well, when God tells you to do these things, it is for your good that you do them, not for HIS good. When he tells you to pray a certain thing or confess a certain scripture or sow a certain seed. He is leading you and guiding you so His promises can be manifested in your life. He has come to give you life and give it to you more abundantly. You have to do the things in God's system to reap the benefits, just like you do the things you need to do in the world system to get a paycheck. Nevertheless, if you think these things are not important, then he will leave you alone. Moreover, He will stop telling you what things to do. God wants you to get out of the worlds system and get into His system. That is why God says seek the kingdom first. Then Paul says to press in to His ways. I guess that is hard to understand how to do that without going in the poor house. So won't go into it. Just keep it in mind when you study the word be looking for it. Go to God about it.

I am learning there are different kinds of prayers and rules of each one. So if you’ve been too busy and putting God off, then you can go to him and confess it. That will get you cleansed, but you also need to get back on track. The best way to do that is to dedicate yourself to him again.
Sometimes we forget about that, unless we are way, way out of whack. If we are just a little bit out, the natural thing to do is to try to figure out how to get back in His will by yourself. Don't' do that. I have heard preachers say go back and do the last thing you know God told you to do. That will get you back on track. That sounds good doesn't it? It had me fooled for a while too. You have to get it in your head that God doesn't want you to do anything on your own.

You are in partnership with God. You must go to God and let Him do the directing. Then hear and obey. People say all of You Lord and none of me. But what are their actions? Immediately they start trying to figure out what to do next. Oh I will do this or that. They pay lip service but leave God out. Don't do that. In fact, did you ever ask yourself are you in God's will? Maybe you don't want to think about whether you are in His Will. You kind
of hope it never comes up. Just because you're going to heaven, that doesn't mean you're in His Will for your life. Just because you go to church all the time that doesn't mean you're in His will either. However, if you do
want to be in His Will. Start by saying, Lord Your Will be done in my life. Then say, thank you Father for putting me back into Your Will for my life. He will start to lead and guide you right back into His Will. Then follow those promptings. In fact He will lead you right in to your wealthy place. Read the first 12 verses of Psa 66. Or just read verse 12th in King James.
While we always want to be in the perfect will of God, realize that the words, “if it be Thy Will,” are only to be used in the prayers of dedication . We shouldn't use them for other prayers. Don't say, if it be Your Will, make me well or anything like that. That is unbelief in those types of prayer. Find out what God's Will is, go to the Word. That is the reason so many prayers go unanswered. God has told us His will for all of the areas of our lives.. (see healing scriptures) if you are still unsure of His will for your health and long life.

Did you ever wonder why things that are contrary to God's word get started and stay that way for decades? All it takes is one person to stand up and pray some stupid prayer like, if it be your Will Lord heal this person. Now
since he is up front you figure he must know what he is talking about. Right? Well if he knew what he is talking about why doesn’t he know God's will? God's Will is His Word. Jesus only prayed that once so let's look at it. (Mat 26:39) He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will." He wasn't asking what God's Will was; He was committing Himself to it.

If Jesus spent all His time in His earthly ministry, healing all the people. These people lived in the world's system, just common people. Even if there were Jews, they still had to live by faith to be justified. They could get healed by the word. (Prov 4:20-22) My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings. {21} Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; {22} For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. They weren't paying attention to the word; they had their religion and, they weren't doing much of that either. They were letting society dictate how they should live. Those people would be referred to today, as sinners. So then, why would anyone that supposedly knows what they are talking about, ask such a question? Doesn't that seem strange? Have they really seen and understood God's word? Have they read anything about the ministry of Jesus?

Let me bring up one more thing that you can think about, since we are on that scripture. We all know that at this time He was battling the flesh and wasn't wild about doing this. Right? We also have been told that there was no other way. Right? Did you ever think about that? Maybe that part was put in there to show us, these spiritual laws were set up before Adam sinned and even before the foundation of the world. So if God wouldn't even make an exception for Jesus, then why do you think that all that begging and crying is going to make God change things this time for you? It is not that God is so mean and strict. No, no He has to follow the rules. If he didn't he would not be a just God. However these laws are the best possible way to do it and will triumph over all. The point here is that you need to learn them and flow in them, instead of trying to get God to change. Thank God, He is not going to change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. This is why He wants you to know His Word and live by faith, so the bad things stop happening to you. Well just something to think about.

Anyway it is easy to get back into the will of God. Then the blessings of God will start to flow again. I know the devil will try to stop you from doing this, don't be fooled by the lies that say, well what if God tells you to do something that you don't want to do. You know the very thing that you have been dreading, that is what the Lord might tell you to do. Then what will you do? You will be in worse trouble, than you are now. Therefore, you better leave that alone. Come on! That is a lie straight from the pits of hell. God is not like that. No matter what it is, you will be far better off, in God's Will for your life, than to be out of it.

Besides that, you have to decide, do you want to follow God or just ask for miracles? Do you want to look to God only when you're in big trouble or live for God daily? It could be a scary thought. However, if you do, then
you need to go to God and settle it. Dedicate your life to him again and get back into His Will. You will be back into His perfect Will for you, in no time and love every minute of it. God will not make you run and catch up, but will just guide you back in.

Remember this is a fight and we can get weary fast. Yes we do need to stir ourselves up in our most holy faith. But we also need to pray and encourage each other all the time. ''For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory'' (2Cor. 4:17). So stay in the peace of God and don't lose your joy. Come on give God a lot of praise. I will be praying for your deliverance. Expect something to happen everyday when you wake up. This is your day. Your turn around is on its way today. It may not come today, but if you don't have that expectation you will never get it. Don't just pay lip service to God either and deep down in your heart you really don't expect it. Why do
people do that? Because they don't want to be disappointed. Well that is part of what you need to do, get those emotions in line with God's Word. The word says, Anchor your soul. Now remember Jesus is our precise Lord over all things. He got the victory for us.

Do you see this, man it gets all over me every time I read it. (Eph 1:22-23) And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, {23} which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. It is talking about his body or the church or us. We are His fullness. Lord have mercy. It is not even saying full time ministers are His fullness. Not saying big preachers on TV are His fullness. No, no it is saying His body, US is His fullness. Without us He can do nothing. That sounds strange, but that's the way it is. God has given us the privilege and assignment, to get his will done on earth. Everyone is sitting around waiting for all the good stuff that God is going to do. Don't do that, we are the ones that have to do it. Come on God is waiting for us.
